NUTRITION
A misconception of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is that you need to exercise allot to lose weight however this is untrue. Although exercise is very beneficial to the body we do not need to exercise accessibly to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle untimely comes down to what you put into your body. 75% of weight loss comes from the foods we eat this is why we should be eating an abundance of foods in there most natural forms such as beans, vegetables, fruit, legumes, nuts and seeds. I think that the best way to stay healthy with out binge eating or frequent cravings is to not think of your new way of living as a diet more as just the foods that you enjoy and feel as though you can eat everything because you can! If you are craving something sweet or something in particular eat it dont restrict yourself because you will end up binging and ruining not only your insides but all the work you have put into this healthy lifestyle. I suggest making a healthy treat to curve those cravings whilst still providing nutrients to your body!

what should i be eating and how much?
Its important that you are eating enough food to fuel your body and get enough nutrients. You can measure how many calories that you need to take in through the bmi which includes personal details such as gender, weight, height and physical activity. Through this it lets you know how many calories you need to maintain your body weight and energy levels. To loose weight you should be eating around 500 calories less than your recommended intake for example a 55kg female needs 2100 calories to maintain their weight so to loose an average of 0.5kg a week you will need a 500 cal deficit to loose have a kilo a week. Although the amount of calories you get is important however you should not get hung up on the idea of calories and if you are following a healthy diet you should be getting plenty of nutrients into your bodies and will not have to count calories.
