MOTIVATION and CONSISTENCY what is it and how can you practice it? |
Motivation is the reason for continuing to act in a certain way. Consistency goes hand in hand with motivation by sticking with your motivated healthy lifestyle you also need to be consistent to ensure that you can reach your long term and short term goals whilst setting up healthy habits for the rest of your life. Whilst both motivation and consistency are excellent atributes to maintain a healthy lifestyle they are both hard to maintain this is why i have come up with 8 tips to keep motivated and be consistent throughout the rest of your fitness journey.
MOTIVATION TIPS CONSTANCY TIPS
1. Find a purpose to train for your healthy lifestyle e.g. Training for looks may not help you achieve your goals where as training to feel strong and reach fitness goals is a much healthier and exciting way to train making workouts fun.
2. Set goals for yourself! Start small and make sure that your goals are achievable. 3. Take progress pictures and measure your success to keep motivated 4. Once you start your fitness journey you will be eating an abundance of foods from nuts, vegetables, fruit, legumes, grains ect. Eating these foods will noticeably improve the way you feel giving you a healthy glow and energy to improve your lifestyle. |
1. Once you have found a propose for training make a habit out of working out e.g. If you go to the gym for the same three days a week at the same time it will become a habit which will make you consistent in your training.
2. Once you have made goals for yourself make sure to track and set new goals once you have reached your old ones. 3. Tracking and seeing progress can be very motivating and beneficial to your fitness lifestyle and keep you on track to achieving your goals 4. Staying consistent with healthy eating can be very difficult in the world we live in where fast food is easily accessible. HOW TO BALANCE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Although balancing a healthy lifestyle can be difficult there are a few key components that are included a balanced diet, exercise, motivation and consistency. Having a balance between all four of these components can ensure that a healthy lifestyle is ensured for the rest of your life. A balanced diet could include a ration of 80% balanced healthy foods and 20% foods that are enjoyable so when you go out for dinner or feel like a sweet treat you are able to enjoy it without feeling guilty. This ration will also avoid binges and help you get back to your healthy lifestyle straight away. Exercise is also another crucial part of a balanced lifestyle being able to enjoy working out to increase your fitness and overall healthy.
